Japanese carmaker Honda Motor has reported 67% rise in worldwide sales to 345,180 vehicles for July 2102, compared to the same period in 2011.
For July 2012, the company's domestic sales increased 24.9% to 88,410 vehicles, while sales outside of Japan increased 88.9% to 256,770 vehicles.
In Europe, the company's sales rose 200.4% to 17,478 vehicles for July 2012, while the US sales increased 100.2% to 75,184 vehicles.
The company said that new vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year increase for the eleventh consecutive month since September 2011 and the sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year increase for the seventh consecutive month since January 2012.
Honda Motor's net profit quadrupled during the April-June 2012 quarter (Q1) to JPY131.72bn ($1.62bn), compared to the JPY31.80bn ($406m) recorded during the Q1 2011.
